The Southwest San Diego County Lions Club was chartered May 14, 1963.
Some of the activities that the Club participates in are:
A yearly Christmas Party for hearing impaired children of Vista Square Elementary School.
Furnishing backpacks and school supplies for the needy children of Vista Square Elementary School.
Thanksgiving baskets for the needy.
Christmas baskets for the needy.
Support other endorsed Lions projects such as:
Campaign Sight II
Blind Community Center
San Diego Service Center for the Blind
Shiley Eye program testing eyes of 3, 4 & 5 year olds
MD-4 Youth Exchange Program and many others
The Southwest Lions meet:
